Below, you'll find key highlights and reminders to help ensure your SimplyHome remains comfortable, safe, and operating efficiently throughout the summer months. However, residents should check their email inbox for the comprehensive guide.
Test and run your air conditioning to ensure that everything is running smoothly. If you notice any issues, submit a service request via the resident portal.
Gradually drop the system 2° at a time until the desired temperature is met.
Do not set the AC thermostat to below 70 degrees and always keep the fan mode on auto to ensure the AC unit is running correctly.
Maintaining the regular replacement of the air filter will help reduce the dust and allergen levels in your home.
If your air return vent located in the hallway or stairway has a latch, it is the resident's responsibility to maintain the monthly or quarterly replacement of the 1 inch air filters.
If the air return vent has screws, your home is equipped with a media filter. Since we do not allow residents access to the attic, please submit a service request to have your media filter changed every 6-9 months.
Keep irrigation systems on and ensure there are no leaks to keep your grass green throughout the summer months. If repairs are needed, submit a service request via the resident portal.
Please remember setting proper zone times on irrigation systems is a resident responsibility. Residents can review our troubleshooting videos or google the model of the controller for explicit instructions on how to properly set irrigation times. Please look up city ordinances for water restriction mandates in your area.
Pest Control: If you happen to require pest control during the upcoming season, please keep in mind that we do provide exterior pest control. However, interior pest control is a resident responsibility.
